Overnight snow in Twin Cities could lead to rough Monday morning commute

MINNEAPOLIS — Drizzle moves into the Twin Cities on Sunday evening, turning to snow overnight and mid-morning on Monday.
Most of the precipitation will be along and north of the I-94 corridor.
The National Weather Service says the metro may see half an inch of accumulation overnight, with most snow falling between 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. Accompanied by a flash freeze, conditions could “cause significant impacts to the Monday morning commute.”
The St. Cloud area will get around an inch, while Hinckley up through Duluth could see 3-plus inches.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin between 10 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday due to the possibility of 2-4 inches of snow.
Monday will have falling temps and breezy conditions. Feels-like temps will drop to the teens by the afternoon.
Highs will hover in the 20s this week before dropping to the teens for the weekend.
Flurries are possible on Thursday, but the forecast looks mainly dry after Monday.
